SANOVA Pharma GesmbH and GE HealthCare have signed a new distribution agreement for GE HealthCare’s contrast agent and radiopharmaceutical portfolio in Austria.

The products for use in computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and nuclear medicine diagnostics have been established in Austria for many years and are synonymous with high quality and reliability in clinical applications.

SANOVA looks back on more than ten years of successful cooperation with GE HealthCare in the distribution of bone density measurement devices. With the new partnership, this proven cooperation is now being strategically expanded to jointly serve the Austrian market in the field of contrast media and radiopharmaceuticals in the future.

Last week, we welcomed our partner class from the medical technology department at HTL Leonding, together with their class teacher Ms Kerstin Knogler, to our premises in Gallspach.

Together, we gave the students a first-hand insight into the world of SANOVA Medical Systems: at several stations, they were able to get to know our products up close, take a look behind the scenes and learn more about the diverse range of activities at SANOVA. Our class mentor Moris Maros and his team organised the day with great commitment and enthusiasm and were on hand to offer the young people advice and support.

Of course, there was also plenty of time for socialising: during the lunch break, we all enjoyed a meal together at a nearby restaurant and used the time for lots of personal conversations. At the end of the day, we tested our knowledge in a fun interactive Kahoot quiz – and there was plenty to laugh about.

We are convinced that direct exchange with young talents is a win-win situation for both sides. The professionals of tomorrow not only bring fresh ideas and enthusiasm, but also inspire us again and again.

The breathing control device helps patients perform the Müller manoeuvre correctly, thereby improving image quality in pulmonary embolism CT scans . Gallspach. “We are a wonderful and now also a large team!” say Managing Director Wolfgang Wacek and Division Manager Manfred Menges from SANOVA Medical Systems. With the latest addition to the team, the company has now officially reached the 100-employee mark – an occasion that was duly celebrated together. “Together” is a central keyword at SANOVA, both in customer relations and in internal collaboration.

The SANOVA Medical Systems Division, based in Gallspach, has entered into a partnership with the HTL Grieskirchen, which specialises in medical informatics. This year, for the first time, a 1st class was taken on as a sponsor class. This partnership emphasises Sanova’s commitment to promoting young talent and supporting training in technical professions.

To support the practical training of the students, Sanova has provided the HTL Grieskirchen with a bone densitometer. This state-of-the-art device was installed on site by Sanova technicians, and the school’s specialised staff received comprehensive training. Sanova also provided additional medical equipment, including a contrast medium injector, a video laryngoscope and an ultrasound-assisted system for determining residual urine.

The provision of these medical devices will significantly promote the transfer of knowledge regarding medical equipment technology at HTL Grieskirchen. The students now have the opportunity to work directly with state-of-the-art medical technology and gain valuable practical experience, which makes an important contribution to the quality of their education.
